Why Play on AoV?

There are many reasons to play here rather then another free shard. #1: We are dedicated and listen to what players have to say, and strive to provide content. #2: We are solid, and wont randomly shut down overnight like lot of shards do. #3:... I could go on, but for now, how about we compare ourselves to one of the biggest runuo shard...

Comparing with (suposedly) the most advanced OSI clone shard:
There are many free shards out there, including ones run by RunUO themselves, who are on the cutting edge in terms of RunUO status, as well as hardware, and have very large population. Demise, for example, is advertised as an OSI clone, and everyone wanting to see ML and other OSI features for free, joins and is disappointed. But do not be deceived! Age of Valor is much more flexible and enjoyable for the players, because it is built by players, from suggestions, ideas, etc and is in fact ahead of Demise by far in terms of OSI features, even though we are not an OSI clone.

There have been various OSI features that have been requested over and over and over on Demise forums, but they simply refuse to implement them, even though they state they are an OSI clone. That said, I've made a comparison table of various features AoV and demise lack/have, and you can make the final decision for yourself on if you want to join. Note that the chart is based on features that have been mentioned, or simply extensive systems. I've done my best to not make it look too biased.
