Could you make the donation weopens and armour a bit more better i mean nearly all 4 armour and weopens seem pretty normal exept its blessed and the self repair but you can easily repeair it with a tailor or smith. Also has someone actually ever bought one of them?

The weapon and armor donations are actually OSI anniversary gifts from different years. They're more for show than anything else, unless you were looking for that specific item. We would like to provide a better variety of donation items in the future. There was a thread started awhile back for people to post suggestions for donation items that you can take a look at:

http://www.uovalor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4786&highlight=donation

The reason why there's little options for armor and weapons is to keep a balance for everyone. Donation items are items given to players as thanks for their contribution in supporting the shard. We will not put gauntlet artifact or runic tools up for donation items as they are already available in the game. Highly powerful items will also not be put up for donation. Moderate property armors and weapons with some consideration, may be available for donation in the future. The point being that donation items are intended to give small/moderate boosts or keepsake value.

We decided it is best to not sell stuff that is better then something that can be obtained in game, so those are more or less for show, and are actual OSI items like mentioned by Death.

This *could* change in the future, but no guarantees. I'd like to make it so donations give you "Game coins" which are then use in game to buy stuff. No plans have been made for this though, but it is considered.

The point of donations is to help pay for the infrastructure operating costs, the items are simply a gift for donating.

Wouldnt it be logical to make a gift that would be usefull that would make someone want to purchase it.

There are several items which are highly useful, such as skill deeds and ethereal mounts. Plenty of these items have been purchased in the past. Decoration items as well as those weapons and armor have been purchased in the past, particularly by collectors. Pet bonding deeds are also highly popular.

As Red and myself have stated earlier, donation items are not set in stone and we are open to suggestions of unique items to offer as thanks for supporting the server. If you are looking for armor and weapons in the store, we can provide a few more approved selections but nothing overly extravagant. Some items with a few unique or special bonuses could work.

Pretty much all of the anniversary items could be added (Minus 10th anniversary as they have a virtue drop in game already). A couple of special AOV items could be added at a later date such as a sash or talisman with minimal bonuses.

No there's already a 100 shards with donation items that give 50,000 to each stat and all those shards fall within a month or two.

The donation system is not intended to be an item giveaway for those who wish to spend money. Not everyone has the desire or the money to dispense on donation items. The server is not here to make money.

We must be cautious with which tokens of appreciation we offer for donation so that they are fair and appealing to those thinking of donating. Not the easiest task, I can assure you, but that's why we ask for ideas to get the ball rolling on what's possible to release and what's not.

Infinite use bola's or the donation "chests" me and filth recommended earlier are a good start!
